This is a good post, because it is 50% about me, and 100% about a competition to make annoying mixtapes.
I envy the conceptual strength of Rebecca's CD. Me, I just thought: "Annoying music . .. let's see, what did my freshman roommate really like?"

Wasn't Matt your freshman roommate?
brig, you put some pretty girlie songs on that mix cd. i am proud of you for jeopardizing your masculinity that way.
You know what's really the new awesome? You posting our link on your blog. Our numbers skyrocket!
I'm getting so jealous of all this Becca and Betsy business. Becca and Betsy, Becca and Betsy.
Oh, now I feel bad. I like Becca and Betsy.
a: Matt was my freshman roommate and he did get down to Mr. Mistoffelees back then. If I were totally true to the spirit of '95, I would have included "The Sign."
b: Nothing quite as annoying as a girlie song that snares you with its hooks for a bit and then turns on you.
b: I feel so powerful!!
l: Maybe if you sent me presents or lived in San Francisco or challenged me to some sort of internet competition then you wouldn't have to be jealous.
i almost put "the sign" on my cd too!
If either one of you had put "The Sign" on your CD you would have been the hands down winner. As it stands I've been listening to the mixes...taking notes...gut reaction kind of notes. And I will post the results soon. But not til I give you both your prizes and take photos of your reactions. Oh geez...guess I'll have to go to NYC to deliver Brigham his prizes in person so I can take a picture. Fine.
I got you something the other day and I'm going to make you something out of it. Could you tell me the exact dimensions of your camera or the name of your camera so that I can get it from the specs online?
