I don't dare doubt you on this. I respect your status as an authority on trends but I am requesting some examples and or evidence of this phenomenon. Secretly, I'm hoping you can't produce them so that I won't have to face this ugly reality.
1. Girls in Japan. This is where I first really noticed the trend.

Probably pictures would help.
