Best "Wait . . . really?"

Indiana Jones 4 has a release date? And it's May 22, 2008?

Other May 2008 Movies:
Iron Man, May 2
Speed Racer, May 9
Prince Caspian, May 16
The Day the Earth Stood Still, May 22

That's a pretty intense month right there. What will we have to watch in June?
(I just checked: Kung Fu Panda, Get Smart, The Incredible Hulk, Wall-E, and the Dark Knight)

that's all well and good but there's a movie coming out this summer that's going to be even better. Transformers. and yes I am totally serious. have you seen the trailer yet? it's definitely not for kids.

Steady Mobbin' is so far ahead of the game that we don't even mess with the movies of 2007 around here.

However, Erin might wish to supplement this comment with a quote from a discussion that was had about the Transformers Sunday night.

Oh man. Iron Man and Batman in the same year? I am aquiver with anticipation. Also, I didn't know that production had even started on Incredible Hulk. Word on the street is that Adrian Brody might be playing the timid Dr. Banner. Good stuff.

Something I completely forgot to report. About a month ago I was at this conference where the President (or CEO?) of Marvel was the keynote speaker. He talked about all their upcoming movies. He was extremely excited about Iron Man, particularly Robert Downey Jr. He said Mr. Downey Jr.'s screentest (mostly adlibbed) was something else. He also revealed that Jeff Bridges was playing the movie's villain . . . I had heard he had been cast, but I think that was the first time I knew he was playing the villain. (I just checked imdb and he's listed as playing Obediah Stane so it's like, duh, Bridges is the villain now)

Regarding Incredible Hulk, he just talked about how Universal how Universal slept on making their sequel so Marvel didn't renew their license. Business, no movie details.
