While I never watched any Degrassi, I think that's what Friday Night Lights is turning into. Issues addressed in this week's episode: teen smoking, truancy, fights in the girl's room.
But, to its credit, this week's episode nicely set the tone and the direction for the final season of the show. We are presented with a plot, a theme, a purpose. Lions on a mission, that's what we have. The above picture is taken from the moment our target is crystalized, and while obvious, it's exciting.
