SNAKE EYES! Where's the dug? I wonder who they'll get to play it?
Is it just me, or are there any other guys out there who would love to be that cool?
I've been thinking a lot about Snake Eyes since last night and I think for a lot of us he was the first hero that we absolutely could not resist the awesomeness of. I begin to dream to hope that the GI Joe movie might be good based on this picture alone...and that Larry Hama seems to be pretty involved in the production.Ok, seriously. I don't think we have any idea how strong an emotional response we'll have to a big screen duel between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. You probably haven't thought about it for a while, but you really loved thinking about those two guys 20+ years ago. Might be the best on-screen fight since Obi Wan, Qui Gonn, and Darth Maul. And while I'm at it, let me say that that sentence I just wrote was me declaring the lightsaber duel from the Phantom Menace to be the best of the 6 movies.
*NERD ALERT*Brigham. You know the I love and respect you - BUT - I can't sit here and accept your statement. While I cannot deny the visual excitement and action of Phantom Menace's lightsaber duel between Obi Wan, Qui Gon, and Darth Maul, I cannot overlook the emotional and climactic importance of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader's final duel in ROTJ before the throne of the Emperor. It simply takes the cake.
i told the girls that i work with the other day that i was super-excited about this movie, and all i got was silence. now i know, i was not the only girl with brothers and watched g.i. joe. i had more g.i. joe, myself, than i did barbies. they may have been cheaper than barbies, for all i know.
