Best Monday Evening Activity

Monday night the Union Square 3rd Ward descended upon the new 7-11 like a swarm of Mormon crickets.

While most chose to get Slurpees, Ryan and Emily purchased sensible bottles of water.

After looting the store the crowd slowly came out to the street.

I pretty much had the worst Slurpee ever that night.

Here Natalie shows off her funky vintage copy of Harry Potter 5.

Then Erin shows up with her shiny new Harry Potter 6.

We then headed over to Madison Square Park. I bought a Shack Burger from the famous Shake Shack. Despite what many say, the Shake Shack burger is certainly NOT the best burger in the city.

It got darker as it got later. Maybe that's the worst caption I ever wrote?

But it's true, it got darker as it got later.

It can be hard captioning photos.

How can we trust your judgment on the burger front? You don't like Harry Potter, and that alone calls your judgment into question.

Also, perhaps you'd like to explain how BUYING a bottle of water qualifies as "sensible"...

Ummm, I would just like to point out that Bryant's teeth are REALLY -- almost blindingly -- white in that first picture. Crazy!

Yes, clearly if Brigham doesn't shit himself at the thought of boy wizards then he has no place to be judging hamburgers

Brigham, you don't have to like Harry Potter if you don't want to. I just wanted to say that. I don't think people are retarded when they don't like horror movies, even though they clearly are.

Also, what flavor did you get of slurpee - because I want to avoid it at all cost.

Yes, Brigham DOES have to like Harry Potter. All must like Harry Potter. He is offered the same choice all heretics are offered: conform or suffer the consequences.

At least that "Anonymous" person gets me. He/she shares my vision...

1) I don't hate Harry. I just don't care to read the books.

2) The Shack burger is like the Shnack burger and neither have anything on the Burger Joint burger, especially in the cheese department. And I don't care for the Shack burger bun. I pretty much only want to eat Blue 9 and Burger Joint burgers for the rest of forever. Also, Pop burger isn't so hot either.

3) The problem with the Slurpee was that it was mostly syrup of some purplish variety that I chose to top off with "green berry", I think that's what it was called, also very syrupy. It seems all the attention it's getting is hard on the Slurpee machine.

4) Anonymous is awesome.

You WILL read the books and you WILL love them. It is inevitable.

It is your destiny.
