"And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again
Who's Sad..."
Shamon Michael, Shamon.
By the way...the word verification for posting my comment is "mulati"... technology is mournful too.
I was on the road down to P-town with your oldest daughter. We were listening to Prince Caspian and making a CD change. KSL was fuzzy but I heard something that made me stop the CD from starting so I could catch the gist of the story...soon we heard that MJ was dead! Your little girl didn't know who he was. I tried singing some of his songs and she looked at me like I was nuts. So I scanned the radio for a tribute and found only one, they were playing ABC. I tried to tell her about him but I was trying to keep it kind and G-rated, so I told him he was a very talented singer/dancer who started singing around her age and with time he became very odd and wanted his face to look like a woman so he had so much plastic surgery that his face looked messed up and fake. But he was still a good singer. And he used to be extremely rich because he owned Disney copyrights and many of the Beetles copyrights (she didn't know the Beetles either, but then he lost it all to making his face look weird. I didn't know how to tell her that he thought he was Peter Pan and loved spending time with little boys, so I didn't.
Coincidentally, I was across UCLA campus as he was being hauled into the medical center.
